TRAINERS & ASSESSORS
Position Objective
This position has operational responsibility for delivery of training and assessment to ensure that the organisational objective to provide a quality service to our clients is achieved.
Key Selection Criteria
Essential
- Knowledge understanding and commitment to the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF)
- Demonstrated experience in vocational education and training
- Vocational qualifications above what is being delivered (or willingness to undertake)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Demonstrated knowledge of and understanding of the function of Training Packages;
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team
- Strong interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated vocational experience in the industry sector being taught
- Excellent presentation skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- An understanding of EEO principles
Desirable
- Ability to work within a flexible environment
- Computer skills to the level required for preparing Learners Guides and Assessment Records, i.e. Microsoft Office including Word and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated knowledge of and understanding of the roles of VET Regulator and othe key stakeholders
- Research skills to the level required to maintain knowledge of current VET issues
