Overview
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply a broad range of administrative competencies in varied work contexts, using some discretion and judgement. They may provide technical advice and support to a team.
Learn all the skills you need to get a job in this high demand job market, including computer skills in Microsoft: Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
This course will give you the skills to be able to: produce business documents required in the workplace; work in teams; manage your time effectively; provide quality customer service; coordinate and take minutes for meetings.
Course Entry Requirements
·          Completion of Year 10 or equivalent
·          Mature age entry applicable
·          Reading and writing - a learner will be able to read, comprehend and write a range of texts within a variety of contexts.
·          Oral communication - a learner will be able to use and respond to spoken language including some unfamiliar material within a variety of contexts.
·          Numeracy and mathematics - a learner will be able to recognise and use a variety of conventions and symbolism of formal mathematics.

Work placement
40 hours work placement within an office is a compulsory component of this course

85% of classes must be attended to achieve competency for this qualification
