As the growing demand for aged care services grow, so does the demand for qualified staff with hands-on experience.
Within the Community Services area we offer both full-time & part-time study for Certificate III in Aged Care Work. We also offer a Skills Recognition option for those who are already working in the industry.
Our college-based delivery is supported by a range of resources that enhance teaching and learning across all aspects of Aged Care Studies for example, the students are taken on excursions to different facilities for hands-on experience and on campus where students can engage in simulated experiences utilising equipment and other aids.

This training program includes a compulsory forty (40) hours of work placement as part of the qualification requirements. Each student will be required to undertake a Police Record Check in order to complete work placement for this course. The cost of the Police Record Check is included in the price of the course and is not refundable.

  • FREE - Candidates who are currently unemployed can apply for full funding through the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR), under the Productivity Places Program

On-line bookings for this course will attract a $3 booking fee. Bookings made on-line are subject to the candidate meeting the eligibility requirements of being currently unemployed. All students who wish to enrol into this course and who are eligible to acquire the funding through DEEWR will be required to sign a Statutory Declaration, declaring that they are currently unemployed. The on-line booking fee is non-refundable.
