Course Outline
HLTFA301B Theory Workbook 1 Day practical
The Apply First Aid Course is in partial completion of Certificate II in Emergency Medical Services First Response.
A practical one day course will include a short test based on the theory workbook. The practical component of the First Aid course addresses first aid areas such as bandaging, bleeding, CPR Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation, cardiac arrest and poisoning.

Cardiff Campus – 42 Harrison Street, Cardiff
Gosford Campus – 295 Mann Street, Gosford
Duration
1 Day course, plus Theory book
Class time: 9am to 3.30pm
Work Placement
No workplacement is required.

Course entry requirements
Minimum age of 14 years
Qualification
The Apply First Aid Course is in partial completion of Certificate II in Emergency Medical Services First Response. Upon successful completion of this course a Statement of Attainment – HLTFA301B Apply First Aid, will be issued valid for a period of 3 years.
