$40m has been allocated through the lst round of Enterprises approved for funding to deliver almost 11,000 new training places for high demand skills for “Existing Workers”. 2nd round will deliver an est. further 2700 training places before July 2010.
- Training commences 2010, delivered over the subsequent three years.
- Training is jointly funded by enterprises and Government
Under EBPPP, the National Industry Skills Council network will collaborate with enterprises, national professional associations and industry bodies. Industry Skills Councils will coordinate the delivery of training.
