YOur pathway to success

If you're looking for a career and not just a job, why not think about a traineeship?

Traineeships combine work with training so you can earn as you learn.

REACH for Training provides traineeship services for organisations who either currently have:

  • an employee or employees working within their organisation who are interested in undertaking a traineeship; or
  • we can assist the organisation to employ a new trainee.

REACH for Training is currently registered to deliver and assess within NSW only.

Benefits

As a trainee, you get:

  • employment
  • training
  • ongoing advice and support
  • financial assistance and
  • nationally recognised qualifications that lead to a CAREER and PATHWAYS to other opportunities

Additional structured qualification training is delivered by a registered training organisation (such as REACH for Training) which is registered with the NSW Government. This training may be delivered off the job or in the workplace.

The NSW Government supports the cost of this training for approved new entrant and existing worker trainees.

NSW Government supported training is only available for Australian Citizens, Permanent Residents, New Zealand Citizens (residing in Australia).

Eligibility requirements concerning the citizenship and residency status of persons who may be approved to undertake an traineeship in NSW are set out in a Vocational Training Guideline at http://apprenticeship.det.nsw.edu.au/html/advins/ats04007.htm

Norfolk Islanders and specified classes of temporary visa holders may be granted approval to enter into an apprenticeship or a new entrant traineeship where an applicant can demonstrate eligibility for enrolment in accordance with the policy and procedures set out in the 2006 Temporary Visa Holders Mandatory Study Conditions
