Student of the Year Award

REACH for Training is excited to introduce the 2018 National REACH “Student of the Year” Award. In October this year, REACH will be using this Award to highlight and recognize our admirable students achievements and success. All enrolled students are welcome and encouraged to apply, please see further details below on how to apply.
Award Categories:
  • Canberra Campus Student of the Year
  • Hunter Campus Student of the Year
  • Sydney Campus Student of the Year
  • Western Australia Campus Student of the Year
  • National REACH Student of the Year
Timeline:
  • Nominations open – 1st October 2018
  • Nominations close – 31st October 2018
  • Judging and Interview process – From 1st November – 30th November 2018
  • Winner announcement – 14th December 2018

Nominee Guidelines: Students/Trainees/Apprentices may be
  • Self Nominated
  • Nominated by Administration Staff
  • Nominated by Trainers/Assessors
  • Nominated by Industry Employers
Expectations:
  • REACH expects each trainer to nominate at least one (1) student
  • Overall REACH expects each campus to nominate at least one (3) students
Prize (National REACH Student of the Year):
  • Award Plaque
  • REACH certificate of Achievement
  • Gift to the value of $500
  • Acknowledgement on REACH Facebook Post

Criteria A (Overview):
  • Provide a short overview covering a description of the qualification your enrolled in as well as your reason for choosing this industry and training path.(limit: 200 words)
Criteria B: Applications will be judged against the following criteria:
  • Career and study achievements (limit: 150 words)
  • Your achievements in areas other than study and work (limit: 150 words)
  • Tell us why you think you should win this award (limit: 150 words)
